A new video game featuring Soulja Boy is coming in 2012 according to the rapper.

Soulja posted a cover picture of COREleted: The Beginning on his tumblr page yesterday with a caption underneath that read “soulja boy the video game in stores 2012.” When asked by a fan about the pic which is also his background on Twitter, Soulja confirmed that the game will be available next year on X-Box and Playstation 3.

The Supreme Audiovisual Council of France has banned Rihanna’s music video for “We Found Love” from daytime television for being too explicit. They believe the clip could inspire “self destructive behavior.”

The video, which shows the pop star smoking, shoplifting and engaging in a violent relationship with a Chris Brown look-a-like, model Dudley O’Shaughnessy can now only be shown after 10 PM.

It’s the second video this year from the singer that has received some type of ban. Riri’s clip for “S&M” was banned in 11 countries after it was deemed to be too raunchy.

While your average NBA player relies on a league check, super-ballers like LeBron James and about 10 other players will be earning at least that much in off-court endorsements, whether they play or not.
According to Forbes, James is at the top of that list — he’ll receive around $33 million in endorsements for the season — roughly twice his NBA salary.
Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will also bring in the massive endorsement bucks GWOP earning about $28 million in off-court endorsements.
James’ teammate D-Wade will also receive about $12 million in endorsements.
Endorsements come from phone companies, energy drinks, sneakers and more.

90 Million Americans will use a tablet or iPad by 2014

spotted: eMarketer

Tablet devices, in their current incarnation, have only been available for a couple years, but the iPad has propelled them to rapid increases in ownership and usage. eMarketer estimates that by the end of 2011, 33.7 million Americans will use a tablet device at least monthly—a rise of 158.6% over last year, the year the iPad was released.

Growth will slow to double digits beginning in 2012, but the number of users will rise to nearly 90 million, or 35.6% of all internet users, by 2014.

New York rapper Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is selling Occupy Wall Street themed t-shirts with the words “Occupy All Streets” labeled on them through his Rocawear clothing line. The problem protesters have with Jigga Man is his unwillingness to donate any of the profits from the $22 t-shirts to their cause.

Artist Daniel Edwards has sculpted a piece that depicts Hov wearing chains and a dollar sign around his neck, with Richie Rich on top of his head along with notorious cheapskates, Mr Burns of The Simpsons and Scrooge McDuck.

I think Jay-Z has made himself a face of [the] Wall Street that Occupiers are protesting against,” said Edwards. “Maybe Jay-Z is striving to be in the one percent? Which is why I chose the composition of a totem pole because I thought it would resemble the number one. Rap stars who turn ‘Scrooge’ have to suffer some damage to their street credibility.
