Hip Hop has been a predominately African American genre over the years, with popular artists from back in the day such as the Beastie Boys, 3rd Bass, Mark Walberg and Vanilla Ice holding it down as the voice for the minority race of caucasions in Hip Hop/Rap music. In 2011, Hip Hop has a new face with no color barriers, the top selling rappers in todays society are predominately caucasion. Remembering Heavy D [video + photos]
(AP) – Heavy D was remembered with laughter and tears Friday during a star-studded funeral service that included Will Smith, Jay-Z, Usher and Diddy. The rapper, who was 44, died on Nov. 8 due to complications from pneumonia. (Nov. 18)
Heavy D’s death is bigger than 2pac and Biggie for the state of Hip Hop.

GWOP Report: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 scores $775 million in 5 days
Activision’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′ has grossed over $775 million in its first five days on the shelves. Activision reported Wednesday that in just one day of sales they sold more than $6.5 million units in North America and the United Kingdom. This means that these sales trump all opening sales for any movies, books or videogames in the world ever. This make the ‘Call Of Duty’ franchise the most valuable piece of entertainment worldwide. Having exceeded $6 billion since the first Call Of Duty release back in October 29, 2003.

Friday 4 coming soon?

The 4th Friday movie is in the works according to Ice Cube, via twitter cube stated “The 4th Friday is in the works, working out a deal with New Line Cinema.”
Cube didn’t mention Chris Tucker in the tweet but he has stated that he really want him in the film in an interview back in August.
“That’s my dream. I hope so, I even want Chris Tucker in it. I think that’s what everybody wants to see,” Ice Cube stated. “They want to see all of us together. I’ve been campaigning trying to put that together. I’m going to keep campaigning until the idea is so old nobody wants to see it.”
