Hip Hop War in Chicago: 16 Year Old Rapper Joseph “JoJo” Coleman Gunned Down
Joseph Coleman, better known by his stage name “Lil JoJo,” was shot in the back when a car pulled up while he was riding a bicycle in the 6900 block of South Princeton Avenue on the city’s South Side around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Coleman, 16 was pronounced dead a short while later at an area hospital.
Hours after the shooting, 17-year-old up-and-coming rapper Chief Keef took to Twitter to respond to the shooting :
Interscope artist Chief Keef Lil Reese & Lil Durk have been feuding thru social media with Lil JoJo and his Brick Squad crew over the past few months. Lil JoJo was an independent artist who flashed guns and pistols in his rap videos on YOUTUBE and obviously lived the street life he chanted about in his lyrics. Lil Jojo’s rap career was ended due to senseless violence in a gang infested community over an apparent SOCIAL MEDIA BEEF. Wake up people we killin’ our selves. Kids killing kids is an epidemic in the Chicago area and in urban communities across the world.
STOP THE VIOLENCE & KICK THE SCIENCE
Watch a few videos below of Brick Squad (Lil Jojo) vs. 300 (Chief Keef, Reece, Durk) INTERNET BEEF:

Chief Keef “Don’t Like” (original video)
38 Teenagers have been killed in Chicago this summer. Stop the Violence.
