Running a successful small business is hard. But these  kid entrepreneurs are showing that it’s just child’s play.

Leanna Archer decided she wanted to become a hair care mogul at the ripe old age of 11.

”The idea came to me when I received tons of compliments about my hair and I knew it was thanks to my homemade products,” said Archer. ”I had nothing to lose, because I figured that if it didn’t work out I still had my whole life ahead of me.”

Archer’s company, Leanna’s Inc., makes eight organic, hair products, which include hair dressings, hair butters and shampoos. Her secret formulas have been passed down through her family for generations and are free of sodium lauryl sulfate and parabens, chemicals which are considered health risks. `’Our products contains no oil filters, no synthetic ingredients, no chemically-engineered ingredients,” she said.

Last year, the company had revenues of more than $100,000. The Long Island entrepreneur expects that number to increase to more than $300,000 by year-end. She is in the process of building an army of sales representatives across the United States.

Her advice to small business owners: ”All new entrepreneurs should know that mistakes are a big part of success.”

The amount of Internet traffic of the world will quadruple by 2015 as the number of networked devices surpasses 15 billion, according to a report from Cisco.

The dramatic jump in Internet traffic will occur as a result of four key factors, Cisco says.

  1. More devices. Driven by demand for mobile phones, tablets, smart appliances, and other connected gadgets, the number of Internet-connected devices will be twice the number of people on the planet in another four years.
  2. More people. By 2015, almost 3 billion people will be surfing the Net, more than 40 percent of the world’s total population.
  3. Faster speeds. The average broadband speed is expected to jump to 28 megabits per second in 2015, up from 7 Mbps now.
  4. More videos. In another four years, 1 million minutes of video, or 764 days’ worth, will cross the Internet every second.

Computers accounted for 97 percent of all traffic last year. That number will drop to 87 percent by 2015, as more mobile devices hop online. As a result, mobile Internet traffic around the world will jump 26 times, to 75 exabytes per year or 6.3 exabytes per month in 2015.

The number of people accessing online video will increase by about 500 million users in another four years.

Tiger Woods is still the highest-paid athlete in the world–and it isn’t even a close call. Woods earned $75 million over the past 12 months, easily outdistancing second-ranked Kobe Bryant, who made $53 million.

Woods can thank two long-term sponsors for his hefty income. Nike signed Woods to a five-year, $40 million deal when he turned pro in 1998. Electronic Arts released its first “Tiger Woods PGA Tour” videogame in 1998.

Hip hop newcomer Kreayshawn is a million dollars richer  after Sony inked her to a recording contract, Miss Info reports.

The Oakland rapper/filmmaker and self proclaimed “rap beast” first gained some local attention by filming music videos for Bay Area artists, most notably Lil B. It wasn’t long before she went into the booth herself to record the mixtape ‘Kittys X Choppas‘ which spawned the local hit and video ‘Bumpin Bumpin.’ But it wasn’t until she released the video for “Gucci Gucci” did major labels start scrambling to sign her.

With a label deal now secured, Kreayshawn and her White Girl Mob crew (Kreayshawn, her sister V-Nasty and DJ Lil Debbie) are ready to take on the hip hop world.

Atlanta (CNN) – Bishop Eddie Long, the Atlanta-based megachurch leader, has reached an out-of-court settlement with four young men who accused him of sexual coercion, according to representatives for both sides.

Long is an internationally known televangelist who crusaded against gay marriage, and the lawsuits against him drew national attention.

The settlement comes eight months after Long, the senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Church in Lithonia, Georgia, said from the pulpit of his 25,000 member megachurch that he vowed to fight the accusations against him, with the congregation cheering in response.

Long entered into mediation talks in February. According to news reports, the sessions between Long and his four accusers – Anthony Flagg,  Maurice Robinson, Jamal Parris and Spencer LeGrande – were tense.

The suits accused Long of using his position to coerce the men into having sexual relationships with him while they were teenage members of his congregation.

The lawsuits say Long engaged in intimate sexual acts with the young men, such as massages, masturbation and oral sex.

Long took the young men on trips including to Kenya, according to the suits. He allegedly enticed the young men with gifts including cars, clothes, jewelry and electronic items.

Long’s attorneys deny those allegations and maintain that the pastor was attempting to be a father figure to the youths by providing them with financial assistance and encouragement.

Though no trial will now take place, Long may face the judgment of his congregation and fans worldwide.  According to sources Bishop Eddie Long settled for $15 million out of court, therefore each kid would receive roughly $3.6 million a piece.
