Tech: Dubai police add HoverBikes to their collection

HoverSurf, a start-up tech company based in San Jose, California, has designed a flying machine called the Hoverbike that looks like a drone and an ATV—and they are taking deposits now. For $10,000 down, the company estimates delivery within six months. The full cost? $150,000.
Dubai’s police force is looking to adopt drone-like hover bikes with help from Hover Surf by the year 2020. The vehicle featured in the video is referred to as the S3 2019 Hoverbike and has a top speed of 60 mph. The hover bike can also operate as high as 4 meters from the ground, and can sustain a maximum flight time of 25 minutes with a pilot. The future is now.
