Hip hop mogul 50 Cent’s Cheetah Vision film company and production shingle Emmett/Furla have inked a 10-film deal with Grindstone/Lionsgate. The first film expected to be produced via the new deal is Empire State starring action star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The company is also prepping the Sylvester Stallone/Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle The Tombs.

“We have partnered with the Lionsgate family on films for more than 10 years, and we’re thrilled to see our partnership continue to grow with their success,” said Emmett/Furla’s Randall Emmett and George Furla.

Cheetah Vision was founded in 2009 and has produced a number of successful straight-to-DVD films via its initial deal with Grindstone/
