Oakland rapper, ‘Kenny Clutch’ murdered on Las Vegas Strip
One block west from where legendary rapper/actor Tupac Shakur was gunned down in 1996 after the Tyson fight, aspiring Oakland rapper Kenny Clutch was murdered Thursday morning at 4:20am. Witnesses say a black Range Rover on Rims fired shots at Kenneth Cherry aka Kenny Clutch’s maserati causing him to run the light on Flamingo and crash into a taxi which burst into flames. 62 year old cab driver from Detroit, Michael Boldon was also killed on the scene. The fourth fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao generated about 1.15 million buys on HBO PPV, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told ESPN.com on Saturday..
The final numbers were not in yet, but HBO did not dispute Arum’s figure, which means the fight will generate in the neighborhood of $70 million in domestic television revenue.

During the next five years, Venture for America will send at least 100 of the country’s most talented and enterprising graduates to downtown Las Vegas to assist Tony Hsieh and Downtown Project in helping revitalize downtown Vegas. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Granted Promoter’s License in Nevada
ESPN reports:
At its monthly meeting on Thursday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission approved a promoters license for 50 Cent and assigned officials for the fourth fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, who meet in a welterweight showdown on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
