Mark Luckie, a digital strategist and former journalist, says he accepted the job offer from Facebook reluctantly.

At first, he didn’t want to move to Silicon Valley from Atlanta, where he had been living, but he said his fiance was able to persuade him, telling him that the job presented an opportunity to make a difference on the influential social network.

Over the years, mainstream media and pop culture created a stigma that looks down upon being intelligent. In today’s society “being cool” is actually the opposite of being intelligent, and essentially certain entertainers “dumb down” their intelligence for ratings and record sales. Dumb it Down exposes the entertainment industry for forcing prominent African American celebrities to tone down their intelligence in order to maintain relevant.

Arianna Alexander worked hard to graduate as a valedictorian with a 5.1 grade point average from Kenwood Academy. She additionally put a lot of effort into raking in over $3 million in scholarships. Now, she can go to college free from financial worries.
