GWOP Report: 10 Year Old Entrepreneur, Moziah Bridges
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A 10-year-old boy is a bow tie entrepreneur.
Moziah Bridges is the designer and proprietor of Mo’s Bows.
Although his mom still helps him get dressed now and then, Moziah — or Mo — is a young dandy, a well-dressed man with a sense of flair.
Bridges is exacting when it comes to his designs, choosing colors and patterns from his grandmothers’ fabric collection that dates back 50 years.
Each tie takes about 30 minutes from start to finish, all handmade and one of a kind.
Tom Shelton of Shelton Clothiers, an upscale haberdasher in Memphis, was so impressed with the lad, that he decided to mentor him.
“There is a spark there. but it needs to be fanned. He could lose interest real easily, but I don’t want him to. I want him to stick with it,” said Shelton.
Moziah has other interests including his new Nintendo, playing soccer and performing on stage. For the moment, none are as important as a career.
Mo also sells his bow ties online. Click here for more information.
