Katy Perry has already made chart history by tying Michael Jackson’s record of five number one songs from an album. Now it’s being reported that while dominating the Hot 100, she also managed to bring in $50 million off the Teenage Dream album.

Teenage Dream sold 1.7 million copies and around 20 million singles. In addition to getting at least 15% from album sales, Perry is also earning money from extensive touring.

Over the weekend, Eminem played in two concerts for the V Festival in England. The Sun reports that Slim Shady cashed in on two million pounds for his appearances both nights, equal to 3.3 million usd. His sets were about 90 minutes each, and Rihanna was also a special guest who came out to their hit single “Love The Way You Lie.”

Behind Gisele Bunchen and Tom Brady, Jay Z and Beyonce come in as the second highest-paid celebrity couple for this year’s Forbes top earning list, but number 1 musically with a combined total of $72 million.

From May 2010 to May 2011, Beyonce racked in $32 million mostly from endorsement deals from Dereon to L’Oreal, while Jigga Man’s earnings stem from his 2008 $150 million Live Nation deal, 40/40 chains and his partial ownership of the New Jersey Nets.

Swizz Beats – who most recently appears on Jay-Z & Kanye West’s Watch The Throne– has been named Vice President of Creative Design and Global Marketing for British Car Company Lotus.

“The key is to infiltrate the market in a cool way,” said Swizzy in a clip of his first day on the job. His business philosophy centers on the idea that the key to success is for “things to happen organically.”

Which isn’t to say that Lotus is about to go into the woods and find their zen spirit animal. “They want flash,” Beatz continued – and flash is something this track slinger is definitely familiar with.

“Like Group Lotus, he means business: He’s a risk taker with considerable credentials, including music producer, rapper, designer and painter,” a Lotus rep said in a statement. “(He’s) the perfect man to add to the Lotus lineup.”

Mark Cuban, business mogul and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, once spent $110K at Club LIV in Miami. Last night, Jay-Z shattered that record by allegedly racking up a tab of $250K.

The gold Ace Of Spades bottles were flowing freely at the Watch The Throne release party, which reportedly cost hundreds of dollars and hours in line just to enter. Kanye was in Europe and couldn’t attend, but Hov made up for it by spending an absurd amount and even copping one of those massive $100k 15 liter bottles of Ace of Spade at one point.

DJ Clue, Stevie J and Don P supplied music for the event, and sources say that VIP treatment for the night was starting at $20K.
