Spike Lee Hits $1.25 Million Kickstarter Goal To Fund Next Film
The 56-year-old “Crooklyn” director reached his $1.25 million goal on Kickstarter to fund his next project, four days ahead of his deadline.
With $1.29 million in donations, it’s the third highest film in the crowdfunding site’s history, behind the “Vernonica Mars” feature film and Zach Braff’s followup to “Garden State.” The title of the legendary filmmakers new movie is “Blood”

Banksy “Flower Girl” Headed To Auction
A Los Angeles mural by graffiti artist Banksy is up for auction. Estimated to fetch $150k to $300k.
Banksy is a pseudonym for an elusive British graffiti artist who first emerged in Bristol, England, as part of an underground group of artists. He has become known for his trademark spray-paint stencils that offer social commentary.
He intentionally hides his identity and real name, but verifies his works by featuring them on his website (www.banksy.co.uk).

Red Bull self made billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz just dropped $1.7 million on a new extreme submarine. Part jet fighter, part great white shark, the DeepFlight Super Falcon glides underwater with the agility of a dolphin. Mateschitz hired Graham Hawkes Ocean Technologies to build the bespoke submersible for guests at his posh Laucala Island resort in Fiji.
