Hip Hop mogul and co founder of the Roc-A-Fella brand Damon Dash is set to open a new art gallery in lower Manhattan called “Poppington” .  The newest neighborhood showroom, specializing in “street style” programming, kicks off September 27 with an inaugural exhibition called “Quality of Life.” “Quality Of Life” will consist of works from a number of street artists including Phil, Jim Joe, and Pixote.

One of the men who helped start Roc-A-Fella Records along with Dame Dash and Jay-Z could be spending the next 40 years in a federal prison.

Kareem “Biggs” Burke pleaded guilty Thursday [March 15] to a single federal count of conspiracy to distribute, and to possess with intent to distribute more than 100 kilos of weed according to NorthJersey.com.
