Judge William Adams beats daughter for using the internet
2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father’s backwards views. The judge’s wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge’s wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can’t even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. great spin anon 1:05. Few points to make: Quote a sitintg judge about an election where there is a challenge to another sitintg judge. Hmm, I wonder what anyone in that position would say. I love how the good ole boys are defined here: anyone who isnt me. Is a 20 year sitintg judge a good ole boy- who does he have to please to keep his seat? Was a 20 year asst. DA a good ole boy to his boss’s political machine? Is a current asst. DA a good ole boy to his boss? When Marvin ran, didnt the old DA’s men (including Whit Graves) come out against him – werent they the good ole boys who didnt want to lose their positions, influence? The whole tired “good ole boys” routine is a silly premise. Everyone running is a “good ole boy” (for whatever that silly term is worth) otherwise they would have no chance of getting elected. Also, no sitintg official is going to endorse someone who might later make their endorsement look bad. So an endorsement by any sitintg official should be considered a vote of confidence. Of course opinions about the endorser might help or hurt. Do you really think that some of the candidates are turning away contributors because they want to not owe anything to the big contributors? nonsense; eveeryone one of them has held fundraisers- some just aren’t as well attended which is a refelction on support in the community. If there is huge support by non-big contributors, where are the huge number of $25, $50 donations from Joe Everyman? Fact is this blog, like most internet blogs is a forum for people to complain. What good news is written about by something done by an official in Bossier? Dirty Laundry generates alot more traffic. Not an indictment of this site, just a reflection on the net, in general- you cant judge people’s satisfaction about their elected officials by internet talk– that talk (anywhere) doesnt focus on that. As for someone putting up more of their money…do you not think they wont have a “retire the debt” event later. Will those contributors who are then giving money to a sitintg judge not expect something? (I hope not, but by your argument they would). Or is that not right, because their may be an implication that if you dont contribute others may get better treatment. I feel like “the no spin zone”.
