Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick back to jail

Former mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick will serve a minimum of 14 months in prison. He is currently at the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson.

Within two hours of being sentenced Tuesday, former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was wearing a bright yellow inmate’s uniform as he stepped into a police van bound for Jackson to begin serving 1 1/2 to 5 years in prison. Full story after the jump.
