GWOP Top 10 Worst Cities to Live in America

GWOP staff has compiled a list of America’s most miserable cities to live, in the United States.

Our Misery Measure takes into account unemployment, taxes (both sales and income), commute times, violent crime and how good the cities pro sports teams have been over the past few years. We also factored in weather and pollution. Lastly we considered corruption based on convictions of public officials in each area as tracked by the Public Integrity Section of the U.S. Department of Justice. Any area with a population larger than 240,000 was eligible.

Cleveland takes the top spot in America’s Most Miserable Cities to live in list. Cleveland secured the position thanks to its high unemployment, high taxes, lousy weather.  Detroit and Flint also made the top  5, with 6 midwest states in the top 10.  Check the Full list after the jump to see if you live in a miserable city.
