The Grinnell College sophomore guard scored an NCAA-record 138 points during the Pioneers’ 179-104 win Tuesday night against Faith Baptist Bible College in an Iowa-school Division III matchup.

Taylor, a 5-10, 170-pound guard from Black River Falls, Wisconsin, shot 52-of-108 from the field, 27-of-71 from 3-point range, and 7-of-10 from the free-throw line to finish with the historic, head-shaking line of 138 points.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is officially the largest entertainment launch of the year for the fourth year in a row, selling a staggering $500 million plus in the first 24 hours

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. It’s expected to be released for Nintendo’s Wii U on November 18th.

Nike (NKE) is selling its Cole Haan brand to private equity firm Apax Partners for $570 million, part of its effort to focus on core brands.

Hostess’ advisers will soon begin to shut down the company’s 33 bakeries and 565 distribution centers, headquarted in Irving, TX. The vast majority of its 18,300 employees will be laid off, according to the company.

As part of the liquidation process, Hostess is also moving to sell off its iconic portfolio of treats. Such brands often find a second home after bankruptcy, often with companies specializing in intellectual property.
